Touch for Health
Education Newsletter Elderly, that is me, I am in my seventy-second year.
Now that is a long way into be elderly, according to some you are elderly
at 55. Most people using TFH are in the age groups over 35. More people
in the age groups over 35 use more drugs than people under 35. Using
Drugs can be dangerous. In an article in the 2/9/04 issue of the archives of Internal Medicine it was reported that 8% of the walk in visits of elderly people to medical clinic resulted in one or more inappropriate drug prescriptions. The majority of the visits were made by urban women and white people. This is the same population that seeks to learn TFH. We want everyone to know that many times TFHK balancing can prevent the need for prescription drugs. Risk of adverse effects The leader of the survey was Dr. Margie Rauch Goulding,
PhD. who said that the odds were double for women and high for any visit
in which multiple drugs were prescribed. I wonder if more women are
seeking TFH balancing because they are unconsciously aware of the dangers
of taking multiple drugs. We have reports of many women that state that
they have been able to reduce or eliminate many drugs by using the TFHK
balancing approaches for the same symptoms that drugs are used. Central Nervous system Drugs Used Most Inappropriately prescribed central nervous system
drugs include barbiturates, tranquilizer (Dalmane, Librium, Equanil,
Miltown, Valium and other), and antidepressants (Elavil, amitid and
Sustiva). These drugs are prescribed for insomnia and pain. These symptoms
are often relieved in my experience by balancing with the TFHK systems.
I would like to hear reports from you of the people who have been able
to reduce their drug use after using TFH protocols. Remember that drugs
are dangerous and need to be reduced with consultation of the prescriber.
